We think that it isn't necessary at all that you gave some historical facts in your introduction. But it is to say that they are right for sure.

Furthermore your example is well explained and easy to understand.

After that you summed up the algorithm in a short but also well understandable way.

Your calculation is very detailed but maybe you did it a little bit too extensive. We think it is not necessary to do several iteration steps to explain the pivot selection rules in an easy way.

To sum up we may conclude that these points are up a high level of criticism. You did a great job at all and gave a gernerally intelligible conclusion of the pivot selection rules.
