Overall you did a good job. The examples you have chosen are well comprehensible. Your theory part could be a bit more extensive though, in such a way that you would have described in words what NLP means and what we are talking about. You did mention all kind of "subroutines", which is pretty good, but you did not waste any words on what the differences are between these methods, at least on some of them. You could have shown the calculation to get a local minima in example 1, nevertheless it was a good idea to plot the function to make your example demonstrative.
